Hello and welcome to LOUD HORIZON. This website offers very informal publicity for bands across the globe from signed acts to local acts who are aspiring to become a big act, whether it be news features or CD/video reviews.

A lot of people who have frequented this website over the past six years will notice a change to the website & how it is being operated. This is because this website used to belong to my father COLIN JACKSON, the godfather of Loud Horizon. After many years of taking care of this website in his spare time, Colin has decided to pack it in & remember what its like to have ‘free time.’

This is the part where I should tell you a little about myself then? Alright then, my name is BRETT JACKSON and I am a 24 year old living in Glasgow, Scotland and working as a Bar Supervisor in ‘The Garage’ nightclub. Music is something that has been something I have been passionate about for as long as I can remember. I actively play the drums & have been lucky enough over the past 5/6 years to have been part of a band whom have been signed to record labels abroad and been able to do many tours across the UK with some great bands. I have been lucky enough to play or tour with some great bands like zebrahead, twin atlantic, mc lars, army of freshmen, sonic boom six, failsafe, aquabats & many many more. The best part of being in a band for me personally was being able to do a co-headline tour in Sweden.

Given my background it shouldn’t be hard to figure out why I am so passionate about publicizing news and reviews on other bands who want to share their music with the world.
