LETTING UP DESPITE GREAT FAULTS

I don’t pretend to bring you absolutely exclusive news, but the whisper from over the horizon Stateside is gathering in volume and Los Angeles five-piece LETTING UP DESPITE GREAT FAULTS will soon be the name (albeit a rather cumbersome one!) on everyone’s lips.

Admittedly I don’t know too much about these guys just yet, but they do produce a mighty fine and pleasant sound that seems to justify the increasing plaudits across the general Blogosphere as well as the ‘big-hitters’ such as Pitchfork and Rolling Stone.

Will they live up to the hype? Personally, I hope so but judge for yourself from the featured tracks below that are lifted from the band’s recent ‘Paper Crush’ EP. (You can actually download both tracks from the band’s Facebook page here. )
